MayB | A brunch cafe with large space and wood stove in Guro digital complex, Seoul

The first thing that comes to mind when I think of a decent cafe I can find in Guro Digital Complex is MayB. If you go out to exit 2 or 3 of Guro digital complex station, you can meet immediately it which have a large space.


It is the front of MayB Cafe. The interior of the signboard reminds me of an American restaurant. It is curious because it is exotic.


MayB cafe came into the room. The space is divided into wooden doors.


Cafe MayB counter. The Maybee Café menu is divided into tea, juice brunch and dessert. The basic coffee menu and latte are all available, and tea types such as iced tea, earl Gray tea and milk tea are sold. Fresh fruit juice and smoothies also appear on the menu.

Brunch menu includes French toast, honeybread, sandwich, hamburger steak, crepe cream chicken. You can also eat pizza, pasta and risotto. The price range goes from 10,000 won to 20,000 won.


Why am I looking for Cafe MayB! This is because of these pieces of cake. If I ate a brunch in MayB once, I bought dessert for every thought.
Originally a delicious cake, Cafe MayB's desserts are more than average.

First, Strawberry milk cakes most often bought among MayB's piece cake. Even though it did not get bigger, it saved the softness of the cream and the sweet sweetness.

The salty caramel carving cake is salty as the name suggests. It's delicious, but it's not my thing. On a summer day with a lot of sweat, I might order one more time.

The chocolate milk cake next to it is also delicious like strawberry milk cake. Cheese cake with strawberry tarts. Does it look delicious as well?


There are a variety of macaroon and Madeleine dessert sweets near the shelves of MayB Cafe and the counter. I get the urge to buy all the payday and eat as much as I can.

As you can see from the price range, it feels 10-20% more expensive than other cafes. But it feels 10-20% cheaper than a dessert specialty shop.

Mayb is a brunch cafe, and I think that it maintains the upper middle-class level compared with taste and price.




As you can see from the above pictures, the cafe is big. It's a unique combination of wood floors and wooden windows with chandeliers.


The chandelier is pretty, so I took a picture.


Uniquely, there is a fireplace in one café station. It is a real wood stove that removes the tree. If you are looking for a romantic experience in the winter hearth, I highly recommend you to visit the Mayb Cafe in Guro Digital Complex in winter.


The board on the side of Mayb's Cafe says 'All you need is love and a good cup of coffee'. Yes. Love and a cup of delicious coffee make a day really happy.

Menya Sandaime/ The representative ramen house of Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam

This is the most famous restaurant among the Ramen houses in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam. Menya Sandaime! The name of this Japanese restaurant is proud as it has the meaning of the third generation of noodles. Now, many branches of Menya Sandaime can be found, even in Suwon. 


The head office of Menya Sandaime is not Nonhyeon. However, in my memory, I am imprinted by Gangnam representative Ramen. Sometimes when I want to eat ramen in Nonhyeon-dong, I often visit Menya Sandaime.

It is Menya Sandaime which appears often when we search for Gangnam-ramen, but it is actually near Shin-nonhyun Station. The look of the store is Japanese style. The Japanese sign in the middle of the sign stands for Tokyo Donkotsu. It means that it is a restaurant that serves Tokyo-style Donkotsu, right? Menya Sandaime is attractive with deep pork broth.





The shop is long and narrow. Because the bar is half, it is likely to eat at bar. I prefer the bar area where I can see the kitchen.



A draft beer that can not be missed if it is a ramen house! You can drink Asahi and Suntory beer in Menya Sandaime.



Tonkotsu ramen came out while waiting. The tonkotsu ramen of Menya Sandaime is thick for Koreans. It smells like pigs, garlic, and spices.


So when I put the broth in my mouth for the first time, I start to smell when I keep eating it. Of course, at this time, how a restaurant control this odor is determined whether it is a

good ramen or a bad ramen. In the case of Menya Sandaime, the control over such odor is excellent.


I added a half-boiled egg to a ramen. This is because I like boiled eggs as much as ramen. In a good ramen house, you will add a mandatory half-boiled egg.

The balance of the subtle cooking that does not come out even if I try at home! When you put it in your mouth, it is always satisfying the softness of the yolk, which does not squeeze too much and touches the tip of the tongue properly and melts.


 I can make my appetite even if I look back at the thick soup of ramen.


You can not miss when you Menyasandaime refreshing spicy! The other ramen shops offer a lot of ginger pickles, and Menya Sandaime offers leek Kimchi.




I did not have pictures, but I ordered Gyoza with ramen. Crispy shells of the dumplings made of starchy water are scattered. Like the crispy part of the edge of the Kimchi buchimgae in Korea is the tastiest of all, the portion of the Japanese Gyoza that is crisp and ripe is delicious.


Now, there are many branches of Menya Sandaime, and it is criticized that there is no quality in the past. But there is still a restaurant that makes the best donkotsu lamen as good as here. I hope to continue the beginnings.

JoonghwaYori Ryang/ I met the best Chinese restaurant in Seoul Guro Digital Complex


Recently opened Chinese restaurant JoonghwaYori Ryang! I found the restaurant which is the talk of Guro Digital Complex. From the conclusion, in my mind, the best place of Chinese restaurant in Seoul Guro Digital Complex is now JoonghwaYori Ryang.

Except for the red light that makes you feel like a Chinese restaurant, the interior of the restaurant does not feel like a Chinese restaurant. The interior is neat as a new store. It is a store feeling that is not old at all. The mismatch with the deep inside that is rising from the food is more attractive.


The main menu is not much different from other Chinese restaurants. By the way, I felt the moment I ate the pickled Onion.

Here is a good house for food. The sharpness of the hard-hiding in the interior like a fledgling!


Regular Tangsuyuk first of restaurant which came out. I do not know why it's called Regular, but this is a Big size. The Tangsuyuk here is a point of fry. On the surface, it looks like a typical Chinese Tangsuyuk. The skill of making the chef here is unusual. Feeling of perfect strength fry that reminds me of Eminem playing with a bit!


It is as if the Tangsuyuk is crispy in my mouth like a living creature! But when I eat, this texture changes again. I can not stop chopsticking in the transformation of Tangsuyuk as I watched the reversal of the movie.

I do not think Tangsuyuk will be necessary anymore for the volume of modifier. If you like Tangsuyuk filled with air layer like a sponge, it is recommended for those who like the feeling of fried rice crackers rather than coriander. The Tangsuyuk of JoonghwaYori Ryang will surely satisfy your taste. 


This is Ryang's Mafa tofu. Ryang's tofu made with Yeondubu. So when you put it in your mouth, it will melt softly. Just leave a little spicy aroma.


Ryang's fried rice. This is an authentic fried rice that does not come with a spoonful.


I ordered the fried Jajangmyeon. The impression of Tangsuyuk strong, so the impression of Jajangmyeon is a little blurry.

The price is high. But the price is not too much, the configuration is rich. The skill of roasting the Jajang is also excellent. It is the taste which roasted the material with strong fire power.


Here's one more point. There is a Gunmandu. The fry of Tangsuyuk is excellent, so you can make guesses taste of Gunmando even if you do not eat it.



It is a well-fried Gunmandu which can be chewed softly even at the end where the dumpling is overlapped. The contents are also very substantial! It is worth the money to give money.


Finally, give the dessert a little frozen pudding.

It is evaluation about JoonghwaYori Ryang quantity. As described above, this restarant offers excellent Chinese cuisine.

The dishes I ate had focused on the original taste of the dish rather than the irritating taste. It is a food that is worth eating slowly over time.
The skill of the chef dealing with deep-fried food is excellent. Be sure to order Tangsuyuk. I think you will be satisfied.

Lar Cuisine/ A nice italian restaurant in Dogok dong cafe street, Seoul

 


Something good happened that I wanted to remember for a long time. I decided to commemorate it. And Lar Cuisine which is Located at the end of the Dogok-dong café street is the venue for today's celebrations.



Lar Cuisine is a seemingly non-restaurant-like facade. I remember that there was a cafe in the past.




The inside of restaurant Lar Cuisine is comfortable. Lar Cuisine is French, which means kitchens.


You can meet creamy pastas in Lar Cuisine. There are Shrimp cream pasta, mushroom cream sauce and chicken tenderloin pasta, creamy sauce pasta with bacon egg cheese, salmon spinach pasta, and shrimp rosé pasta. The average price of pasta is around 20,000 won. 
In addition to cream pasta, there are basically oil and tomato pasta varieties.

You can also find a variety of seafood salads such as snail cooked with mushrooms as a starter, grilled butter and salad, and a shrimp lunch and salad.

What we ordered today from Lar Cuisine is a set of pasta in a dinner set. I ordered high-Gorgonzola and Vongole pasta.


An appetizer bread. Unlike other stores, it was baked to roll on a buttered pan. It is a delicious bread that is warm to the touch and gentle to the buttery flavor.



The Caprese together. The thick mozzarella cheese was as impressive as the steak. The balsamic sauce was also very tasty and very very satisfying. Pretty to the plating, the triple beat was an elegant appetizer.

The next order, soup came out. Potato soup and onion soup.

Salad from the main dish. Lar Cuisine treats balsamic sauce very well. The vegetables are fresh and the balsamic sauce that supports them is also fresh.


 Pickles served with main dish in pasta. Crispy.



It is a Vongolian pasta of Lar Cuisine which first came out. It is full of seafood and garlic. 


Next is Manzo Gorgonzola. Manzo means a bull. Pasta with beef. Beef is soft and faithful.


After finishing the main dish, I finished my meal with coffee and tea.

To evaluate Lar Cuisine, it is a good place to enjoy an appetizer and a main dish at an affordable price. However, the weight of the main dish will be slightly lower. Before dinner, breads, capresees, soups, and salads were all of a good quality, but some of the most important pastas have just been driven on the shoulder.
Especially in the case of Manzo Gorgonzola, the cream sauce and the beef seemed to cause some incongruity.

Anyway I've had enough. Next, I decided to challenge the stake and went out to the restaurant.
