COEX Cafe 'Chloris Tea Rooms'/ Drink black tea and milk tea in a European atmosphere

I visited Chloris Tea Rooms in Coex with European atmosphere. Last time I visited the Cafe Chloris Tea Rooms in Sinnonhyeon.

Chloris Tea Rooms is a franchise cafe, but the interior and atmosphere are different at each branch. Except for the common feeling of European style, it is almost other cafes. 

The Chloris Tea Rooms in COEX is a good place to visit with friends. It is a good cafe to chat with until the hot tea is cooled down rather than thinking in a quiet atmosphere. 

Today I visited COEX to buy a friend's gift. And the Chloris Tea Rooms sells black tea which is good for gifts.

The colorful chandelier from the entrance reveals the concept of the Chloris Tea Rooms. This is a chandelier that really attracts attention. It's reminiscent of 'The Phantom of the Opera'. 

The set of teacups that I want to have some time with is attracting attention. I would really like to take shelves in the chlorotic tea room home. The attention to details of the cafe floor is also great.

And the neat counter makes a perfect interior. We have displayed the products at the counters that we really want to buy. 

The main menu of the Chloris Tea Rooms is various now that I am filled with milk tea. There are many types of cool milk tea that you can enjoy especially in summer. There is also a black tea ice cream.

Once inside the Chloris Tea Rooms, you will see a hidden large space. It is a Chloris Tea Rooms that gives a feeling of being in Europe for some reason. 

If you have a lot of travel experiences in Europe, you might come back with memories. I would like to go on a leisurely trip to Europe and find out if the atmosphere of the Chloris Tea Rooms is really European.

For reference, COEX Chloris Tea Rooms is located near 'Pierrot Shopping' which is a hot topic these days. It is not difficult to find because it is near Megabox Theater.

The oldest kebab house in Itaewon 'Sultan Kebab'/ Turkish kebab chicken and Pilaf kebab chicken review

There are various cultural restaurants in Itaewon, Seoul. My favorite restaurants are Turkish kebab houses. My Itaewon restaurant tour started with encounting Turkish kebabs.

Today I found the oldest kebab house in Itaewon, Sultan Kebab.

Previously it was a small corner restaurant. Now, the restaurant has become bigger. I feel proud as a regular guest who has felt the taste of Turkey in 'Sultan Kebab' for more than 10 years.

The interior of the Sultan Kebab house is not much different from any kebab house. There are many foreigners. Sultan Kebab has a long tradition in Itaewon, so foreign clerks also can speak Korean. 

I have never been to Turkey, but there are decorations on the ceiling that seem to be in the Turkish kebab house. Turkish foods that the oriental and western cultures meet are called 'the world's three food culture'. I should definitely go on a trip to Turkey. 

Itaewon is a globalized place, but at the same time it is also Korea. It is an old experience. An old man asked a black man a way who was standing near me. I was wondering if a foreigner would know the route, but surprisingly he explained the bus route well in Korean. 

The Sultan Kebab house also sells Baklava and Turkish Delight as desserts. Baklava is the dessert which sprinkles sweet syrup on crumbled nuts, builds a thin crispy dough on top of it, sprinkles syrup again on top of it, and repeats. 

It is very sweet because it is almost cut in syrup. If you drink bitter coffee with it, you will feel bitter and sweet together. It is recommended only for those who like sweets. 

In case of Turkish Delight is like a jelly, and its taste is also similar to jelly. Expensive jelly!

I packed Sultan kebabs and came home. It is kebab that we commonly know. Chicken and vegetables are piled in a dough. Kebabs of Sultan kebabs contain plenty of chicken and vegetables.

This is a Pilaf kebab chicken. Often kebabs are reminiscent of foods like long-burrito, which means toasted meat. Like Chinese dim sum, kebab has more than 100 different dishes. 

Cooked chicken on top of rice is also good kebab. Chicken is a chicken that goes up to the kebab we commonly know. It is seasoned and fragrant and spicy. Also, it burns for a long time and is greasy. It's good to have vegetables that I can eat together.

Sultan Kebab has been selling kebabs in Itaewon for more than 10 years. Though it may have been transformed according to the taste of the Korean people, it is a magical restaurant that invites nostalgia for Turkey that I have never been to.

Seoul Street Arts Festival encountered during Cheonggyecheon walking/ Adrian and Jurate dancing in water

Last weekend I took a bus in front of my house without any special plans. I thought that it would be nice to go anywhere and see anything, and the bus led me to Gwanghwamun. 

I could not get to Gwanghwamun exactly, so I had to get off near Baek Hospital. It is because Sejongno is carrying out the 'Street without cars' every Sunday. I got off the bus at Baek Hospital and went down the road to the Cheonggyecheon. 

And there was a 'Seoul Street Arts Festival 2018' that I did not expect.

I think Cheonggyecheon is a good tourist destination though I think Yangjaecheon is better than Cheonggyecheon personally. Cheonggyecheon is said to look more beautiful at night.

I took a leisurely walk to the Cheonggyecheon Stream. High-rise buildings in Jongno that blend in with the clouds. Sunlight shines on high-rise buildings in front of glass. I felt like I am in the world of science fiction.

There is also unique vibe passing under the bridge. 

The stepping stones of Cheonggyecheon. It looks pretty but it looks too small. It is just a good size to fall into the water.

Small artificial waterfalls are also available. On the other side, you can get to the waterfall by walking on the bridge. I went over to the other side and took a picture and watched the artificial waterfall.

Even birds like crane can meet when they take a walk on the Cheonggyecheon Stream. Children loved it very much.

As I walked along Cheonggyecheon, I heard something from above. Until this time, I did not know that the Seoul Street Arts Festival was being held.

Now Gwanghwamun is coming closer. It is a place where Gwanghwamun falls from Cheonggye Plaza, but suddenly it is a huge crowd!

I realized that the performers who participated in the Seoul Street Arts Festival were performing their performance for a long time. It is a Seoul street art festival that I started at Cheonggyecheon.

The performer who jumped into the Cheonggyecheon stream. After came home and I searched for the program name of Seoul Street Arts Festival and it is called 'Adrian and Jurate'. Their appearance of dancing in the water was truly impressive. And take off their coat and swim!

It seemed that my mind was free throughout the performance. I sent cheers and applause on my own. I was able to feel the surprise satisfaction by actually demonstrating the water play of the Cheonggyecheon which I had always thought.

It was filled with satisfaction in my heart thanks to Performer's performance, which I did not think I could think of.

It was only after I came to Sejongno through Cheonggye Plaza that I realized that I was doing the Seoul Street Arts Festival. It was the day when I felt a sense of satisfaction as if I had received a gift when I saw the unexpected festival.

Lee's Mandoo House/ A hole in the wall restaurant in Guro Digital Complex '9 out of 10'

Human desire to eat more delicious than yesterday is hard to fill. Today, I have found 'Lee's Mandoo House' which is famous in Guro Digital Complex. Previously, it was a 'Guksuljib'.

It is business hours of Lee's Mandoo house. There is a break time in the middle, so please check the time by all means. Sunday is not open restaurant.

The inside of the shop is neat. Lee's Mandoo house have a menu on the wall and do not give a separate menu. The price of most meals is between 6,000 won and 7,000 won.

When you order, Kimchi comes out as a side dish. Kimchi is delicious! I had an intuition when I ate kimchi in Lee's Mandoo house. It's a real good restaurant!

The Kimchi here goes well with dumplings.

Gonggi Bap are also available, but the amount is small. You can compare it with a spoon. But I do not think I have a small amount of rice. Because I have a lot of other meals, I finally could not eat all that breakfast.

Kong Guksu ordered by the person I went with. The soy sauce is very Creamy. The beans are very softly grinded and It's like milk. I put some salt water here. But it is also delicious to eat just without salt.

The second Bibim noodle. Deep-fried dumplings which look like rabbit ears come with bibim noodles. It's sauce is sweet and sour. I guess it is Korean ChoGochukjang taste. I really likeed it.

Fried dumplings with noodle are also delicious. It's fried skin is thin and crispy. Personally, fried dumplings of Lee's Mandoo house were more delicious than 'Bukchon Sonmandoo'.

It is the handmade Mandoo Guk I ordered. The soup is impressive. All three people I went with have fell into broth. I think I want to eat Somyeon noodles and rice.

Dumplings of Lee's Mandoo house are delicious as well as broth. Honest dumplings faithful to the basic. If you have a textbook of dumplings, you can taste the flavor you expect from dumplings.

The dumplings are delicious, so I ordered a dumplings half-cut more. I get the dumplings that go into the Mandoo Guk as they are.

Lee's Mandoo house is really good at dumplings. This is a top class restaurant of newly I discover this year. The former restauruant 'GuksulJib' was also famous for its taste, So the boss did not change and the name just changed. It continues its old reputation.
